I was one of the Lucky winner of the “Spaces of Light” photography contest, established by the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center affiliated to the Ministry of Presitential Affairs during the period of October 17, 2010 to December 5, 2010. The judging panel had assessed the photographic works that the screening committee had chosen from 4,000 photographs from 50 Arab and foreign countries.
Though they spelled my name wrong form the certificate (Papilto Tyson), cheque (Pabilto Tyson) and on the news (Pablito Tyson), I’m still thankful that they have selected my entry.
To the judges and the organizers of the event, Thank you.

Took my wife and kid to the zoo last week. I’m not actually a big fan of zoo coz i feel like animals are kept in jail. Though they are taking care by humans, they are still bounded by the four walls of their cage. They no longer hunt for food but instead rely on foods given at certain schedule. Their natural instinct are somewhat altered.
Put yourself in their place and tell me what do you feel. Read the rest of this article »

I got my site hacked last August and managed to sort it out today. I was too lazy to put my site back thus took me a while.
WordPress or any other free cms applications out there still have holes on their program. It’s all up to you to maintain and keep your site tidy. I was not much of a blogger and was so busy at work hence I didn’t mind hosting my site up.
So how can we prevent this from happening again? Here are some guides.
- Backup: Keep a copy of your site at least once or twice a month. This will allow you to recover all your files seamless should there be a problem in the future. I didn’t do this so I guess lessons learned.
- Review your database: I had one user added on the database and I’m clueless till now how this happens. Well I don’t want to dig deep. Anyways, just keep an eye on your members list.
- Don’t install themes: Though I use free themes on my site, I would suggest that if you could create themes, do it yourself. This will prevent unwanted or hidden codes on your site.
- Don’t install too much Plugins: Plugins are sometimes coded poorly thus will give a chance for you to be hacked.

I found a cheapest way to upgrade your Mac Pro’s Hard Drive. Here in the UAE, 1TB Western Digital external HD cost only AED359 ($97.5), compared to an internal HD from Apple store will cost you about AED1,600 ($434.8). Luckily, this external HD is compatible with Mac Pro’s Hard Drive Bay. So, without further ado, here’s how you open a Western Digital Hard Drive and use it on your Mac Pro. Site still under construction. Dumped Drupal as it was giving me a lot of headache. WP made it easy to configure PHP and CSS scripts. I loved it, so far.
